Day 18, Sequencing Train

Don't forget that tomorrow is our field trip to the museum. We will be seeing the Robot exhibit. This afternoon, I had to leave early to go with my husband to a doctor's appt. (Baruch Hashem, he got a wonderful biopsy report from his recent surgery...everything was benign) Morah Tammy had the students make robot pictures out of different shapes. I can't wait to see them in the morning. Our book order has also come in, I will distribute them tomorrow, as well. Have a wonderful Sukkot holiday.

Everyone enjoyed their snacks today!

Listening to our Curious George book.

Tissue paper collage painting.
This is the seaweed to the Swimmy picture.

After the "seaweed" was glued on with lots of water and glue,
we sprinkled salt on it to look like bubbles.
Tomorrow we will add the fish.

Working on her number train.

Ready to cut, put in order, and glue together to form a train.

Almost finished with the first part of the project.

Learning about robots.
I used dominos to show how they can make a ball move.

Will the dominos make the ball fall down?

Yes, our domino robot "arm" worked.

Now the students wanted to try making one with different objects...
